This makes absolutely no sense to me
I had an awning replaced using GS Extended warranty. It has torn within the two year warranty window from Dometic. I asked GS Extended Warranty people about its replacement and their answer is below...

If it's still within Dometic's warranty window, why not just make a claim to them instead of Good Sam?
Actually, that's where I was going when I originally emailed the extended warranty people. I told them what was wrong and asked them for Dometic's information and then as an aside asked that if they did not cover it would the extended warranty ... then the fun began
