Towing is not easy
My story ends well.
I kept my Fleetwood Discovery in a campground most of the summer. We had a big trip in the spring and nothing else. Untill-- I went to move it to winter storage. As I got on the road, it quickly overheated. I discovered that my serpentine belt was vaporware. I nursed it back to the campground and called good sam roadside assistance. They explained the procedure. I waited till I was not working so I could be there. The original contract was for the next day. That service never showed up dispite calling for 6 days. Well, snow, mud, etc, I called again and they said if you find someone to tow it get them and I will be reimbursed. It wasn't till 2 weeks ago, I got my rv towed to the service facility. Frozen alternator and new belt and I am good to go. I submitted my claim on line probably 1 1/2 weeks ago, and got my check for the full amount today. I am very happy with Good Sam and their service. Some tow operators, not so much. All in all, She is on the road ready for our next trip.
