All very good points. It really wouldn’t matter to me except that Progressive quotes over $900 per year for an Oklahoma policy and under $400 per year for an Arizona policy.
My tow vehicle is registered and insured in Arizona. I don’t think AZ DMV will require an inspection as the tt is new. I’ve brought motorcycles and cars that I purchased in OK back to AZ and never had issue with registration. At any rate, this may be difficult and expensive to resolve if the insurance company requires that it be insured in Oklahoma.
We don’t currently know where it will be stored but we hope to find a secure, enclosed facility. The thought of a broken window in the open for months is unpleasant to dwell on.
