Why didnt you have a jack? And the wrench. Thats motoring 101. change your own tire. Be prepared, not dependant.

I give space here could be partly disabled, and older. Truck and many RV tires are heavy and not easy to change. Not all 65 year old are as lucky as I and can still do those things.I did not have a jack because I was only 10 miles from home. After a 30 minute phone call I was told it would be an additional 90 minutes before someone could help.
I think that's what the call out for the jack was for??

Seems to me it would have been easier to simply call home and have someone bring out the jack.
From experience, I do not see a 30 - 90 minute wait for a service call unreasonable. My dad was a tow truck driver when I was little, and I've known many others. They aren't sitting on their duffs for that time hoping they can tick you off. They are out on another service call, bringing a vehicle in to the shop, 30-120 minutes away from you because the prior service wanted to be taken to their preferred shop, etc.
