usa travel care warranty

anyone have any experience with this service? we just traded our W Vista for a new Sightseer from Lemesa in Davis and the ext warranty is 7K for 7 years. Too much and I'm "betting" we won't need it. I know it's a gamble and we could put the 7K aside for future problems.
we are 1 yr in as RV'ers. Is it a good plan??, seems good on paper, but seems a new 2014 Winnebago wouldn't have problems for a while.
OPINIONS?

  • Your Winnebago should of come with a 1 yr warranty on the rv itself. Te motor and power train a little longer. I could say you don't need it and tomorrow you may have to she'll out a couple thousands dollars to fix something. And then a year from now, the same thing. If you have the $7k sitting to the side and available to you,I wouldn't get one. I would invest it into a cd or some interest bearing account and let it grow until you need it. It's all a gamble. It's one of things that if you get it, you probably won't use it. But if you didn't get it, then you will need it.

Do you believe in Murphy? lol
