Why do people call a tow service when they feel their safety is in jeopardy? You should be calling 911 anytime you feel your safety is in jeopardy.
I don't agree with this. 911 is for EMERGENCIES. While the side of the road is not the safest place to be, it is hardly an emergency. It is also easily rectified - get out of the coach, walk to a safer area to wait, call a cab etc. Unless the coach was still in the road I would not tie up valuable emergency personnel. What are they going to do anyways? Have an officer wait with you for 10hrs for the tow to show?
