To know if this is a GS policy or a clerical error would go a long ways toward making us feel confident in buying their service. At this point, I see all negatives, never SEE a solution to the problems......so therefore, we will NOT sign up for GS.Good Sam Care Team wrote:

Well we know "all is well now"
That is almost universally considered a bad idea for businesses. Posting resolutions usually would involve giving their side of the story, which in effect, would be saying that certain information given by the person with the problem was erroneous in their assessment of the situation (the long way of saying they were lying). The resolution often will be a compromise, meaning the public will still see a company trying to shirk their total responsibility (say in this case Good Sam paid $500 of the tow, most people would see it as Good Sam strong arming the policy holder out of $250.00). Even if they just capitulated and paid the full amount, that could be bad because in people's minds they now think they can just avoid all the policies and procedures outlined in their contract and still be reimbursed, it would set a precedent. Don't think we are going to be seeing the other side of the story.
Sounds like you are either an administrator for Good Sam or have had past experiences with corporations in this line of business. Lack of public disclosure by Good Sam will result in creating negative reactions and opinions towards Good Sam by default. Transparency and truth always ends in positive results:)
yes transparency and truth the motto of every elected official.
