Couple of items
A) Good Sam replied ' Our licensed agents specialize in RV insurance coverage and are able to provide specific information for your situation based on where you live, carrier, vehicle type etc. which is why the agent you spoke with advised you to ensure that it was an option in your state.'
SO if I read the reply correctly the agent is supposed to know what is needed based on what state I am in BUT the customer should call his state DMV to make sure the agent is correct because the agent does not know for sure?
2) State farm does this for customers they call it withdrawn from use; for example I have an auto I do not drive in the winter I call the State Farm agent and tell them I have withdrawn the unit from use. State Farm DRASTICALLY reduces the liability portion of my premium and I do not have to turn in plates because as far as the state is concerned I still have coverage.
