The negativity in these posts gets annoying, but I do understand that there have been a lot of bad experiences with extended warranties over the years. I have spent the last 17 years of my life trying to change that. We would not have 110,000 customers wtih Good Sam ESP if that were not the case. It's never a great experience to have a mechanical breakdown, but 95% of our customers end up having a positive experience with the GS ESP claims process, according to our customer service surveys. You don't hear from many of them in these forums, but we pay out something like 3,400 claims per month.
