30 years in retail selling consumer electronics and appliances. Near the end of my career, it didn't matter how many items you sold, the money was in warranties, not so much for the salesman as the store. Our only incentive was keeping our jobs. If we didn't sell a certain percentage of warranties against our product sales, we were out.
