What am I missing

I received my renewal with an insert that there was a $33.00 savings on new G.S. Roadside Assistance. I checked an decided I wanted the $112.95 plan. So $112.95 minus $33.00 right?
When I called a very nice lady explained the $112.95 was the total.I was told the $33.00 already had been subtracted from the price.
Nowhere did I see a higher price for that plan. So can some one tell me where the $33.00 comes in.

    marieb,

I researched your purchase with GSRA. You enrolled in our GSRA Platinum Roadside assistance as a first time buyer at the $112.95 price, normally for $139.95. You saved $27.

The "$33 savings" enrollment offer(not renewal) you recieved in the mail was an acquisition to get our standard, or basic coverage, for 79.95 which is normally $112.95 to renew. Good Sam only offers the basic coverage in the mail at this time.

If you have any questions regarding your GSRA account, please call member services available 24/7 at 1-800-234-3450.

    I hope this helps,
