Hi.. I have a good Sams extended service. Last summer the slide out would not slide out. I could hear the motor for the slide out run but it would not slide out.. I took it to camping world for repair. Turns out the motor was working but the bracket that holds the motor was broken. Camping world turned in a claim that was turned down because the bracket was not covered. The motor was covered but it did not fail so the claim was turned down.. I really think that the bracket should be covered because it is needed so the motor can do the job of moving the slideout. I Still have a policy but my option of good Sams insurance is very low. You should post this question in the Ask Marcus sub forum under Extended Service Plan.....if indeed that is what you are referring to by "warranty".

By the way, what is a "strap under the cap"?
