The ONE time this happened to me was when I was not towing a car behind the motorhome. I was able to get to the parking lot of a shopping center. I called CoachNet and they determined I needed a tow. I walked over to a nearby auto dealership that rented cars. By the time I'd got the car rented and was driving back to get my wife and 2 kids, the HUGE tow truck had come, had the RV hooked up, and was driving away leaving my wife & kids in the center of the parking lot. Fortunately I was right there to pick them up and follow the tow truck to a truck dealership certified to work on my chassis (about 80 miles away). After that, I got our CRV hooked up to tow.
Oh....it wasn't quite as dramatic as it sounds - I was in constant 2-way radio contact with my wife & kids so while I was renting the car they were keeping me current on the tow truck. We still tell the story - one of our vivid RV memories!
