I recently got a "renewal notice" from- wait for it- IRV2- that "other" website!
Not that I'd ever sent them a dime, or think I had to....thing is, it also said I was on an "autodeduct" plan at Paypal for this "membership" that I was unaware I had, which alarmed me some since I do have an account at Paypal.
I actually thought it had to be spam- didn't want to click on the handy-dandy links included just in case it was hooked up to My Man in Nigeria or something.
So I went to the forum and posted a "what the heck" question there that disappeared almost immediately. I did hear back- turns out that a banner applied above my avatar some time back was a sort of free membership in....something. Still don't know what....and I guess the "free" part expired or something.
Anyway they said to just ignore the "renewal notice"...but I'm still watching my Pay Pal account!
