So when you signed up you probably took advantage of the new customer incentive program, knowing that in N years you would be asked to pay the regular/published rate. Sounded good at the time. Now that it’s due you have the option to move to another provider with a new customer incentive program or pay the regular rate that was part of the deal. Your choice. Not sure what there is to complain about.
