I think technically we share the border, but I get your point. You guys govern your side and we govern ours.
For what it's worth, we crossed into CA umpteen times last fall and your border agents were always professional and kind to us. It was amusing to me that the agents had so many synonyms for "guns". Do you have any guns? Any pistols? Any long guns? Any rifles? Any shotguns?
It seemed funny to me, but like you said, your country your rules.
