Yes, bear spray will stop a human pretty dam quick.
I found that out one day while checking that my old container was still pressurized.
Just as I pulled the trigger a gust of wind came up and send the spray back toward me. Had a tough time catching my breath and it burnt like h*ll.
I would never want to get sprayed directly
