As far as the border goes, like you said, it’s your country, your half of the border. I will always defend a country’s sovereignty to do what ever they wish within their borders as long as it doesn’t affect anyone’s basic human rights. If Canada doesn’t want our tourism dollars, so be it.

What many fail to note in my post...Canada/US borders closed. Both ways...not just for tourists coming to Canada..but the same type of person isn't entering the US.
