Jim, thanks for the info and I love the people of San Felipe. The way I see this; if you were happy and they were happy... it was a good deal. There are lots of nay-sayers around, sometimes I feel sorry for them. I have done Mexicali West and Tecate in my Pickup. I am not sure that I would want to use either of them in a large vehicle. I have been considering bringing my Class A DP and wondering which crossing you used. JH

Up in Portland, I got a quote for a wash and wax of my 35' RV and it came to $540. Yikes! So I waited until I got to Mexico.
Now at Kiki's RV park in San Felipe. Asked around the guests here about who the favorite vehicle wash and wax guys are. Hired them and the two of them just finished my RV, along with doing the toad.
Full wash, roof included, brush scrubbed the slide awnings, paste wax (Turtle Wax) everything, tires washed, chrome shined. Same treatment for the car and the guys cleaned the insides of the windows too.
Excellent work. Worked at it from 10 AM to 3 PM.
They asked $80 US. I added a $20 tip so total of $100 ($2000 pesos).
Hard to beat that. Looks great now.
And as soon as they finished the tires, the camp dog came over and leaked on the one he'd marked before. GAH! Hate that dog.
