Officially you need to use the ArriveCan. I used it 3 weeks ago at Detroit/Windsor and it worked fine, though a bit fussy.
However, I'm hearing that if you get to the border and claim "it didn't work/no internet access/old and stupid", the border person will in all likelihood approve you. You still need your passport (or enhanced DL) and your covid card.
So if they don't, not a lot lost. Turn around and come back.
