Please do not start another thread on safety in Mexico. I was only repeating what was in the article. Personally I think there are many factors affecting RV tourism in Mexico. Many Americans stopped coming in 07/08 when the economy in the USA tanked. Many RV'rs want to stay in parks with good power, decent water pressure and modern facilities. Some are bothered by the paperwork at the border. There are other barriers: no ULSD, high tolls, mordida. Of course the regulars on this board are so used to these barriers it becomes no big deal!
