Why does every thread on this subject end up the same way? Can't there be an intelligent discussion on this subject? I was merely pointing out that RV tourism has dropped significantly. Who cares about statistics. It is more about perception. The past 2 or 3 weeks have done more to damage the reputation of Mexico than the drug cartels. At least they mostly killed other drug dealers. I do not think there is anything that can be done to undo the damage./ It does not matter that RV'rs are not involved in any killings. No one wants to RV in a country where the corruption is at all levels. I cannot understand why the Pres. did nothing. This could kill the airline tourism industry.
