Many of the wiser, grizzled RV'ers Moisheh have stopped coming and it has zero to do with cartel violence or Hannibal Lectur grade jefes. It is just too damned expensive down here. I cannot drive my rig to Patzcuaro and back for Dia de La Sonora de La Salud. Why? Two hundred sixty seven dollars in fuel. A hundred ten dollars in RV park costs and forty seven dollars EACH WAY in tolls. I drive my toad, eighty dollars in fuel, a basic hotel room IN TOWN not miles and miles away in Villas Patzcuaro or El Pozo, for 20 dollars a day NOT THIRTY like the closest park, and thirty nine dollars in total tolls. This is a short side trip Moisheh.
