Russ is upset and rightly so. Who decides what is the "real" Mexico? Is a tourist town any more real than Patzcuaro? Maybe Patzcuaro is not real enough? How about San Cristobal? Is that the real Mexico? My point is that all of the above are real. A country evolves and things change. Every part of the USA is different. Is New York real? How about New Orleans? Penasco is a great spot. It may be Americanized but in a good way. I appreciate the good restaurants and stores with decent food. Too many snobs posting here.
