Are you saying the federal gov't of Mexico sanctioned these killings? Or was it some crazy locals? Once again - are you saying this is the entire country? Some people all over the rest of the world read of the killings in the US and think it is the most dangerous country (other than those with actual war zones). You are in denial if you do not think the US is a dangerous place. Stupid people do stupid things no matter where you go. Groups of stupid people do really stupid things - pack mentality. Now we could get into the gun debate in the US but I won't go there.
The local government. The last time I check no city mayor in the whole U.S. turned over students to be killed.
