IMO the danger/insecurity level, in this case, is a perceived quantity. Therefore IMO it's a matter of opinion.
For example: I believe that there is potential danger just about everywhere. Yes, a murderer can break into my house. Yes, I murderer can show up at my favorite theater, or at any school or gathering. Also, a suicide bomber can appear without warning. All this can happen right here in the USA and in my city (it's a dangerous city). Yet, I feel that I'm relatively safe,....by taking all the "common sense" precautions which are well known,.....including carrying guns.
IMO in order for more RVers to show up in Mexico, there needs to be not only an increase of discretionary dollars in their accounts, BUT a change in their perception of the danger level in Mexico, AND there needs to be a higher level of convenience in RVing into and in Mexico.
