It is my best guess that Mexico is going to limp along on the same number of overland travelers that it has seen for the last couple of years. Unfortunately that number IMHO is not enough to support trailer parks with one foot already in the poorhouse.
But also in my opinion is the fact that many RV'ers are going to dramatically downsize. Campers, and vans instead of class A and class C. When a hotel room costs less than an overnight parking spot it is quite apparent. Check out the free or almost free boondocking sites the next time you come. You will be surprised at the number of vans and campers.
And I am happy to report I do not get USA blues/news reception, my vecinos would not know the word Obamacare, recognize the name Rush Limbaugh and cluck their tongues at criminals who use any excuse to hurt people and destroy things. The talk is about if the fish are present, their son's new outboard, the picnic upcoming at the river and the rumor of a regionally famous banda showing up for next month's fiesta.
I really wonder who has the better quality of life...
