That's not really true. DVD sales are still strong through 2018 at $4 billion. Streaming was $12 billion so DVD's are still 1/3 of home entertainment sales. Not everyone has an unlimited data account or stores of media on devices. Young kids are especially entertained by DVD's - cheap and easy. I agree streaming is fazing them out, but it's hardly accurate to say no one uses them anymore. Streaming dominates the home market, but it doesn't dominate the RV segment where data is costly.

I have hundreds of DVDs, if I really like a movie , I want my own copy, I don't want to stream it, everything's I watch it
