'02 American Eagle Leveling jack Reservoir Location

I just bought an '02 American Eagle. It has a Power Gear Manual System with a leaking leveling jack. The dealer is going to replace the jack but I need to add some fluid to see if the "jacks down" alarm will go away.
Does anyone know where the reservoir may be and what I need to remove to get to it? I did a search with no results.
Thanks

  • Filling the reservoir turned my "jacks down" light off. Now I have to get the cylinder replaced but at least the dealer is paying for it ;)
  • Thanks for the quick reply. It was exactly where where you pointed me. Relatively easy access from the filter compartment. It was very low and headed to get more fluid now.
    Thanks again!

  • Not sure yours will be in the same place, but friends is located behind the battery boxes. Those are in the curb side compartment behind the rear wheel. Access may be gained from behind the batteries or from underneath. We have the Power Gear setup, which may be located different than yours, but a place to start. You may be able to see it from the rear compartment door where the fuel and hydraulic filters are located. Ours is a tank approx 8-9" in dia by 18-20" tall. Hope this may help, Happy Trails LaMonte
