05 W24 chassis inline fuel filter replancement

I am going to change the in line fuel filter on my W24 chassis 05 mountain air. I am concerned about the fuel being under high pressure and the amount of gas flowing from the lines once discounted. I recently did the fuel filter on my gennie and had to deal with quite an amount of spillage. This is a gas chassis 8.1 engine. thanks

  • If you pull the fuel pump fuse or relay with the engine running, it will bleed the fuel line pressure.
  • once you loosen the line, place a shop towel around the fitting, then continue to loosen

if the coach has been sitting for a couple of days, fuel pressure will be minimum, but anyways slowly loosen the fitting
  • I just did my 03 Pace arrow W22. There was no pressure and not a lot of fuel. It was iside the frame behind the rear wheel. NAPA had the filter. $15
