Just accept that running the Television directly off the 12 volt is a better solution than running a medium size inverter.
A 300 watt inverter would be more than enough. 10% loss would make it draw 3 amps extra.
A 1000 watt inverter is overkill. 10% loss would make it draw 10 amps extra.
The two above statements are a deliberate over statement of the possible losses to try to make it clear to you.
