1976 Midas Mini - Heater Issues

Hey all, new to the forums here! I bought a 1976 Midas Mini last year at the end of the season and have a few issues.

The main one seams to be the propane heater. When I get the pilot light lit, I turn up the thermostat and it blows out. Any ideas?

Also, does anyone have exact instructions on how to get the heater to work? Thanks!

    Make and model would help!
    I would clean the main burner tube. Make sure the thermal couple is in a good pilot flame. You could hold a long lighter under the thermal couple to see if it lights. If it does, the thermal couple is not holding the valve open.
