Yes , i believe you are correct, it is the same board as you stated, part # 802896 is what it appears to be according to the service manual you so kindly linked me to. You say you cannot read any numbers on your IC chip either. That was an old thing done way back then to try to keep the work in their shop, simple ICs were sometimes covered up with a black marker and other time I have seen then actually scuff surface with sanding material to hide the numbers. I wish I could repair this one , my board is the 4 pin board. Thanks for your help, at least I have a phone number I can try to reach them at.
