Extensive water damage? No, you will regret tackling it. If you can unload it now, you'll be money ahead on a better one. Not too mention hundreds of hours of labor.
I know how the line of thinking goes, I understand the temptations, and the devil known versus devil unknown thing. But really, you'll very likely regret this one. (I did a water damage repair, most likely not as bad as yours.)
