Yes, if it is like most rigs, there must be at least 1/4 tank of gas for the generator to start and run. Be sure to check the fuel hoses to the generator. The rubber may have deteriorated, and the fuel pump will suck air instead of fuel. If such is the case, the generator will not run. Yeah, been there, did that, 1977 Pace Arrow, dodge 440.
