We had a Ford remanned tranny installed in our previous '95 F53 chassis at a truck garage in London, KY for $3K including labor. It took three days to get it shipped in, and one day to remove the old tranny and install the new one. The new tranny came with a 3 year/100,000 warranty from Ford. We broke down on Sunday and we're back on the road the following Friday. We continued to live in the motorhome the entire time, leaving it only for the time it was actually worked on.
