If you can get a die grinder and cut off blade or similar hacking device in to the area, cut off the head and slide the bolt out. When you reassemble the set up replace the bolt from the opposite direction. The bolt is probably going to show wear from all the years it ran dry. On the later Workhorse chassis the fix was to drill a hole in the bell crank, tap the hole and install a zerk fitting to facilitate greasing during maintenance.

Thanks, that sounds like the easiest approach by far! Do you have any idea if this assy has internal busshings? I will definitely install a grease zerk once I get it out.
