Would get even more confusing when we know what GVW rig is or what size brake shoes are on the rear.
That is why I suggested to take vin to dealer and get the GM part number then cross reference to after market.
I tried looking up rebuild kits to see if there is different diameters. Didn't find much on quick search.
Yes - the VIN at the dealer is the way to go. Get the correct GM part number and then cross-reference it to something cheaper if that's what he wants to do. I believe mine's a Delco which isn't bad. It was much less expensive through Rock vs. the dealer.
