1996 Damon Intruder AC Question

I haven’t tried to remove it yet but I will go try it. I can move the speed control switch from high to medium and back to high. I only feel or hear the click when moving from high to the lower setting. When I move it back to high I hear or feel nothing. I will go try to unhook it and see what it does!
