In those times at the Coachman factory the guy that was installing the fridge would accidentally cut the liner for the floor where the fridge seat. He did it while stripping one of the cables with a cutter instead of a cable stripper.
This would translate on delamination growing really small under the fridge if the drain hose was leaking.
I have seen A LOT Miradas and Santaras with the same problem. If he has delamination under the fridge, tell him to remove the current liner and put a piece of heavy plastic and seal it all around.
I had to repair the first motorhome I bought because of it, and by researching and talking to several owners and visiting the factory i found most of the information that led me to this conclusion.
Hopefully it will help him.
