2 city advice for Texas
I-10 East bound. Should I bypass San Antonio and/or Houston. San Antonio around 9 Am and Houston 1-2 PM. I generally go straight through cities at this time. Advice welcome.

I always take loop 1604 around SA. It's a better road, wider lanes, fewer turns and almost 4 miles shorter than I-10 thru town. (The shortest route is I-10 to I-35 to I-410 to I-10).
At 1-2 pm I'd go straight thru Houston on I-10. Check traffic on Google Maps or Houston Transtar to find out if there are any accidents or construction delays.
