2001 fleetwood discovery air conditioner question

Got a problem with the air conditioners. Sometimes zone 1 cools and zone 2 doesn't it blows hot air. Next time zone 2 cools zone 1 doesn't it blows hot air. Changed the thermostat. Plugged into 50...

Just a guess but perhaps how your coach may be parked, and where your temperature sensors are located, is the culprit. If one sensor is in the sun and the other in the shade, it can confuse them as to what the temperature is inside your coach.
