My 2003 Mirada has a "permanent", stinky slinky with one end cut off and hoseclamped to the pipe the other side thru the swivel tube. Supposedly you unplug the cleanout cap, and connect to the end of the permanent stinky slinky with your other stinky slinky. Maybe your missing the "permanent" stinky slinky?
