- Teacher_s_PetExplorerGulfstream dropped their motorized product lines in the late 2000's when the market tanked. Some friends have had problems with sidewall cracks at the front of the driver's side bedroom slide on their RV. Appears to be a structural framing problem. It has been fixed 3 times and now is back again. It was fixed by a body shop recommended by Gulfstream at their expense the 1st two times, now the owner is paying. Another friend has a 2005 Atrium, his comment to us on commenting how good it looked was most of the 1st 6,000 miles were accumulated running the 175 miles back to the plant for repairs, during the 1st 2 years for slide out problems from his Central Ohio home. We did look at a 2005 Crescendo, before we bought our Tiffin and felt the fit and finish was lacking, compared to Tiffin and Newmarr products we were looking at during that time.
The Cat 330 is a good engine, but won't equal the fuel economy of a similar sized Cummins
