I have it home and I am wanting to do some maintenance before I start using it. The roof looks really good like advertised being stored inside with that said I would like to clean and reseal it any recommendations on products to use? An earlier poster that has the same coach in a 38' says it has a TPO roof what is that?
There are no stains on on the roof but I would like to clean it and put new seal around all the penetrations. I would also like to put some seal on the joint where the roof meets the siding and around the windows what products do I use for this? Any online links would be appreciated.
I ordered a 9 gallon rolling oil pan when it comes in I plan to do an oil filter and oil change on the engine & the transmission and put in a new fuel filter. I worked as an equipment mechanic in my younger days so I plan this work myself do some of you do your own maintenance?
TPO roof is a flexible material, some people refer to it as rubber, google it.
There is roof cleaner and treatments available. To reseal at all the seams you can scrap off all the old and apply new, you can clean off the old and apply new where it needs it or clean off the old and go over the areas with Eternabond tape, which is what I did.
