I own a 2004 Adventurer 35-U that I bought new and have had extremely good luck with to the point where I don't want to trade or sale it. My coach is on a Workhorse Chassis with a 8.1 Vortex engine and Allison transmission. I've had 3 recalls to take care of on my RV. The brake caliper recall, the gasoline filter clip recall and the dash cluster recall all recalls are fixed free of charge.
Note: The 2006 Adventurer 38R was only built on the Workhorse W24 chassis. The W24 had a completely different braking system than the W22. Thus never a brake recall on the W24.
I would not purchase a 2005 or 2006 38R unless it was on the W24 chassis. In 2005 the 38R standard chassis was the W22. The W24 was a $4530 option.
