We are trying to find a solution to the noise that our hood makes when traveling. The howl and vibrations is just about unbearable. The generator is behind the hood.

Maybe some foam tape around the inside lip of the door. If gen is on a table it might be moving around. lube the bearing with grease and see if that it also. You also could clamp it down.
