2006 coachman encore thoughts

Looking at purchasing a 2006 encore with a 330 cat and 49k miles and need some advice. This unit has been outside in the NW for the past two years with no use but an electric heater hooked up inside. The roof appears to be good but covered with moss and the interior driver and passenger seats definitely need replaced. Not much known other than that. Thinking in the area of $30-40k and putting $10k right back into it like reseal roof, tires, batteries...ect... Ideas on things to check? Never had a class A diesel so looking for all advice
  • 49k miles and the driver and passenger seats need replaced?
That would be a concern to me, but not the only one.
What is wrong with the seats?
  • I would hire two inspectors for that one. Someone with a strong chassis/powertrain background and someone good with the house side.

Lot of potential problems concerning possible water damage and other concerns. Does moss in the NW grow fast enough to cover a coach roof in 2 years or may be it's been sitting a bit longer.
  • The seats are worn and not clean. Appears the coach didn't have much maintenance or cleaning done just used and put away

That probably means there was no engine/chassis maintenance. Have it inspected by a good mechanic before you give the seller any money or sign any agreements.
