2006 Fleetwood Discovery 330 CAT dash lights

I bought this coach about a month ago. It’s an 06 and in great shape. Strange thing: when I started it yesterday, the dash lights looked like video game. I shut it off three different times and still no reboot. I put the heat on the floor ( it was 39 degrees) and it actually stopped. Today after pulling out, they went on during the ride home. For like five minutes and went off. Anyone had this problem or know of any suggestions?
Thanks!
  • Please explain in detail how your dash lights "look like video game". Also, why do you mean reboot?
    I have an 07 Discovery and have had some dash issues. I might be able to assist.

    Thanks for your post and welcome to the forum!
  • Did you check for a loose ground or other loose wires?

  • OP sent me a video of his dash. I started digging deeper and found other posts as well! It's called chasing dash lights. I found a thread with this Youtube link;

    I also Googled the issue using filling search string;

    freightliner chase pattern site irv2.com

    And

    freightliner chase pattern site rv.net

    Interesting reading.

    Looks like 2 possible issues, low chassis battery.
    When ignition is first turned on the preheater on the CAT kicks in DROPPING chassis battery voltage resulting in the lights chasing. One user reported new chassis batteries cured the issue.
    Another user pulled the connections on the back of the dash and cleaned using contact cleaner.
