When we slowed to 55 mph the temp was reasonable. If the outside temp is below 95f then we see no crazy engine temperature spikes.
What have any of your seen with engine temps during hot weather? What about those of your with even bigger f53?
Overall, I'm very happy with the Ford v10.
As can be observed HERE the OE thermostat is 195F. Add 3 degrees of additional temperature rise for every LB of pressure on the radiator cap and that will be the peak operating temperature.
